This natural draft draws exhaust gases from the furnace or equipment through the chimney and disperses them at height for environmental compliance. The chimney height is calculated based on pollutant dispersion requirements, while the diameter is determined by gas volume flow rate and required draft. The cone filter at the base acts as a spark arrestor and preliminary particulate separator. The galvanized steel construction resists corrosion from condensation and acid gases in the exhaust.
