Continuous Hardening Furnace

Continuous Hardening Furnace

Industrial Furnaces

Industrial continuous hardening furnace for high-volume heat treatment operations. Ideal for automotive components, fasteners, and precision engineering parts.

Working Principle

In a continuous hardening furnace, workpieces are loaded onto a conveyor belt at the entry end and travel through multiple temperature-controlled zones. The heating zone raises the material to the austenitizing temperature (typically 800-950°C for steel). The soak zone ensures uniform temperature penetration to the core of each component. Upon exiting the furnace, parts are immediately transferred to an integrated quench tank (oil, water, or polymer) for rapid cooling to achieve the desired martensitic structure. The continuous flow design eliminates batch-to-batch variation, ensuring every component receives identical thermal treatment. Advanced atmosphere control systems maintain precise carbon potential for carburizing applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Throughput depends on component size, weight, and required soak time. Our furnaces typically handle 200-5000 kg per hour. We design the furnace capacity based on your specific production targets.

Yes, our continuous hardening furnaces can be equipped with endothermic gas generators or nitrogen atmosphere systems for carburizing, carbonitriding, and neutral hardening applications.

We offer integrated quench tanks for oil, water, and polymer quenchants. The quench system is designed with agitation, cooling, and filtration to maintain consistent quench severity.
