Air Pollution Control System

Air Pollution Control System

Wet Scrubber & Pollution Control

Comprehensive air pollution control system with up to 99% efficiency. PLC-based automation, CPCB compliant, suitable for chemical plants, pharmaceutical units, and industrial facilities.

Working Principle

The air pollution control system captures contaminated exhaust gas from the source through ductwork connected to a centrifugal blower. The blower draws the gas into the scrubbing tower where it passes through multiple stages of gas-liquid contact. Water and chemical reagents are sprayed counter-currently to absorb and neutralize pollutants. The system uses gas detection sensors to monitor outlet emissions in real-time, with the PLC controller automatically adjusting scrubbing liquid flow, blower speed, and chemical dosing to maintain compliance. A mist eliminator removes entrained droplets before the clean gas exits through the stack. The spent liquid is collected in a sump, treated, and recirculated to minimize water consumption and waste generation.
