The aluminium die oven heats casting dies through a combination of electric resistance heating and forced air circulation. Dies are loaded into the oven chamber on a heavy-duty hearth or trolley. The heating elements raise the chamber temperature to the desired preheat level (typically 150-350°C for aluminium die casting). Forced convection ensures uniform temperature throughout the die mass, including complex internal cooling channels. The digital controller maintains the temperature within close limits, and a timer can be set for automatic cycle control. The oven is designed with wide door openings and heavy-duty construction to accommodate the weight and size of industrial dies.
