The continuous furnace operates with a series of gas-fired heating zones through which LPG cylinders travel on a continuous conveyor system. Each zone has independent temperature control with dedicated burners and thermocouples, allowing precise management of the heating profile. Cylinders enter at the loading end, pass through progressively hotter zones until reaching the normalizing temperature (870-930°C), maintain at temperature through the soak zone, and then exit into the cooling section. The conveyor speed is calibrated to ensure each cylinder receives the exact soak time required for complete normalizing. Automated controls monitor and adjust temperatures in real-time, with data logging for quality documentation and traceability.
